How do I import subscriptions to the Podhero Player?

Podhero lets you to import your subscriptions from other podcast apps via the widely supported OPML file format.

Castbox (Android)

1. Go to the "Personal" tab
2. Tap "Settings"
3. Tap "OPML Export"
4. The OPML file should download via browser
5. If you use Google Chrome:
   1. Tap "Open" in the notification at the bottom of the screen
   2. Tap share icon in top right
   3. Select Podhero
6. If not using Chrome:
   1. Download the file
   2. Open your "Files" app
   3. Tap the "castbox_opml_*.xml" file
   4. Tap the menu button in the top right
   5. Select "Open with..."
   6. Select Podhero

Google Podcasts (Android)

Does not support subscriptions export ( details).

OPML File (Android)

1. Open your "Files" app
2. Browse to your OPML file and tap on it
3. Tap the menu button in the top right
4. Select "Open with..."
5. Select Podhero

Pocket Casts (Android)

1. Go to Profile tab
2. Tap gear icon in top right
3. Go to "Import & export OPML"
4. Tap "Save file"
5. Select Podhero in the list of apps

Podcast Addict (Android)

1. Tap menu icon in top left of app
2. Tap gear icon in bottom right
3. Select "Backup / Restore"
4. Tap "Backup" under "Subscriptions only"
5. Tap the "SHARE" button in the bottom left and select Podhero from the list

Podcast Republic (Android)

1. Tap menu icon in top right of app
2. Tap "Import/Export OPML" and select "Export OPML"
3. Save to "Downloads" folder (or another you will remember)
4. Open your "Files" app
5. Tap the "podcast_republic_podcasts.opml"
6. Tap the menu button in the top right
7. Select "Open with..."
8. Select Podhero

Spotify

Spotify doesn't allow you to export subscriptions.
